I must admit that I somehow missed out on Kanan Bowl I.
Apparently this is a fundraising event for the OPHS and AHS football programs. Former football players from each high school will face off in a full-contact game.
Tickets are $10
Game startes at 7 p.m. Friday, June 7 at Oak Park High.
I am so curious… how old will these alum be? I would love to see some of the players from my days at AHS, but the athletes will probably be recent grads who aren’t as likely to break a hip.
Last year OPHS beat AHS 27-6 — ouch! I think I will have to bring the family to support my alma mater.
