Do you visit California State Parks frequently? If so, you might want to think about getting an annual park pass. If you hit the beach often during the summer and you like to park in the lot, even the higher price pass may be worth it.
The Golden Poppy pass is $125 and covers entrance to some State Parks. You can see the list HERE.
But if you go to Malibu Lagoon, Leo Carrillo, Malibu Creek State Park or Will Rogers SB, you might want to grab the Vehicle Day Use Annual Pass for $195. It covers vehicle entrance at most of your California State Parks and Beaches. If you visit more than 17 times in a year (I know we do) then it is worth it.
